Mission: The Office of Support to the Quality Management System (GASQ) is a support service to the Director of FMUC, with the fundamental mission of Quality Management at FMUC, in order to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Quality Management System of the University of Coimbra.

Quality Day
Every year the world quality day is celebrated. It is a date that was instituted in 1990 by the UN and its celebration is held on the second Thursday of November. Instituted by the United Nations, its main objective is to "promote reflection on the role of quality management with a view to the success of organisations, for example by promoting process improvement".
