Postdoctoral in Health Sciences

Faculty of Medicine welcomes PhD researchers, national or foreign, to carry out postdoctoral programs in Health Sciences, in the fields of Medicine, Dental Medicine, Health Technologies and Biomedicine.
Proposals for postdoctoral programs are made individually, duly approved by the FMUC Scientific Council, under the scientific guidance of an FMUC Professor / Researcher, with a minimum duration of six months and a maximum of three years.
Proposals must be part of FMUC's research and teaching activity and based on the activities of the Faculty's research units.
FMUC Postdoctoral students will be provided with the necessary conditions to carry out the work plan to be developed, namely research spaces needed to fulfill the planned work, common equipment available to the FMUC community for the development of research work, libraries, bibliographic bases. and other electronic support structures subscribed by the Health Sciences Library (BCSUC).

Post Doctoral Degree in Health Sciences 60 ECTS - 1 year 2.400,00 €

Post Doctoral Degree in Health Sciences 120 ECTS - 2 years 2.400,00 € / year

Post Doctoral Degree in Health Sciences 180 ECTS - 3 years 2,400,00 € / year

Application

The postdoctoral application is addressed to the Chairman of the Scientific Council and sent to the Office of Advanced Studies, via email to gea@fmed.uc.pt

The application must be accompanied by the following elements:

a) Application for postdoctoral application;

b) Document proving the PhD degree and respective scientific area, duly recognized by the University of Coimbra;

c) Curriculum Vitae;

d) Individual Postdoctoral Project;

If the postdoctoral project has been approved for funding in competitive international competitions, after scientific evaluation by a competent, credible and reputable entity, proof of the evaluation must be presented.
