PhD Student Hugo Gaspar Defends Thesis Project on Bee Species in Portugal

Hugo Gaspar, a PhD student at FLOWer lab, defended his thesis project this morning on the work he will undertake over the next 4 years of his doctoral studies! During this period, taxonomic and ecological information on bee species in Portugal will be compiled. The study will involve examining collections and new field collections throughout the country, as well as exploring species distribution and adapting dichotomous keys.
