University of Coimbra awards Doctor Honoris Causa to Rui Nabeiro
Distinction - on a proposal from FEUC - will be awarded at a ceremony to be held from 11:00 am, in Sala dos Capelos
On June 8, from 11:00 am, in the Sala Grande dos Atos (Sala dos Capelos), the awarding ceremony to Commander Rui Nabeiro of the Doctor Honoris Causa by the University of Coimbra will take place.
The distinction – on a proposal from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra (FEUC) – had already been announced in February, but had to be postponed.
At the Doctoral Honoris Causa ceremony, Rui Nabeiro's Godfather will be Carlos Fortuna, a sociologist and retired full professor at FEUC, with presentations by António Martins (praise for the Doctoral Student) and Margarida Mano (praise for the Godfather), both Assistant Professors from the same Faculty.
