International Conference "The Social Enterprise, what Future?"

The António Sérgio Cooperative for the Social Economy (CASES) promotes the International Conference "A Empresa Social, que Futuro?" - Coimbra, September 26, 2022.

Aware of the growing debate and interest within the EU regarding the figure of the social enterprise, as well as its framework in community and international programs, CASES considered it relevant to introduce a reflection on this theme in the Portuguese context, also knowing the reality of other countries. Europeans.

Thus, on September 26, 2022, national and international experts will discuss the concepts of social enterprise in Cyprus, Spain, France, Ireland and Italy, promoting an informed debate that can contribute to the conceptualization of this figure in Portugal.

The Conference, which will take place in person and at a distance at the Convento São Francisco, in Coimbra, has the support of the Municipality of Coimbra and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra (FEUC) and will be attended by the Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, Ana Mendes Godinho.
