On the 4th of February, within the scope of the MBA for Executives at FEUC, a Masterclass will be held with the theme “New challenges of people management in organizations”

This Masterclass with the theme “New challenges of people management in organizations”, takes place in the Keynes room, on the 4th of February, at 11 am.

The guest is Ana Luísa Vicente, Global Director of People & Culture at Sonae Sierra.

In this Masterclass, the main recent trends in people management will be analyzed and discussed. In particular, the impacts of aging and multigenerationality in the work context will be discussed, identifying concrete strategies to integrate age diversity throughout the life cycle of each employee.

This event is open to current and former MBA students, upon registration.

Ana Vicente is currently Global Director of People & Culture at Sonae Sierra, a Sonae Group business dedicated to the development of an integrated approach to the real estate sector, with a presence in more than 10 locations, spread across Europe, South America, North Africa and Asia . Until 2021, he was Head of People & Leadership at Sonae, being responsible for conducting the Top Management assessment, development and succession processes of the Sonae Group, as well as for designing the Inclusion and Diversity Strategy for the group. He also led the Sonae Academy, a corporate academy, which annually provides top management and leadership training to the company's employees, and guarantees the continuous analysis and management of Sonae's talent management cycle throughout the life cycle of its employees. During this period, he also led the Working Group on Inclusion and Diversity of the European Round Table for Industry (ERT), an organization that brings together leaders from some of the largest European companies. From 2014 to 2018, he took an active role in coordinating and defining management policies and practices and the strategic development of talent and leadership at Sonae, in partnership with the various areas of people management and internal stakeholders. Between 2011 and 2013, he was part of Sonae's strategic change management and innovation movement in terms of models, processes and talent management tools at Sonae, including performance management, skills models, career and succession management, as well as and development of high potentials and executives. He holds a Master's Degree in Organizational and Work Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra and an Executive MBA from Porto Business School, IE and University of Berkeley.
