The guest speaker is Bernardo Carreira, founder of 8000kicks.
Born in Portugal, Bernardo Carreira studied and worked in the USA, but in 2018 he returned to his origins, in Minde. It was in the small Ribatejo village — which in the last century was a fertile field for textile factories — that he sought a personal project that would meet his values. After some time drifting, the “crazy” idea, as her grandmother labeled it, came up to create cannabis-based shoes.
