Verão com Ciência ends on a positive note

Verão com Ciência came to an end last Friday, the 30th. In this project, which took place throughout September at the University of Coimbra Institute for Legal Research (UCILeR), participated 8 fellows of scientific initiation. The fellows established contact with research practices and developed preliminary studies in the scientific area of law.

The Verão com Ciência project is funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and consists of support for scientific and technological research activities in R&D units, aiming to stimulate the initiation of scientific activity.

In this scope, the UCILeR offered 8 research grants, with the aim of promoting scientific initiation activities in the field of Law. The program, oriented towards legal topics, addressed essential concepts in scientific research, highlighting the transversal issues of research methodology and the scientific system.

The group of fellows was made up of undergraduate and master's students in Law and Communication Sciences. Participants chose an ongoing UCILeR project and developed an individual or group work, under the supervision of a member of the project team.
