Training at UCILeR prepares researchers for Horizon Europe applications

On 21 September 2023, the UCILeR welcomed trainer Seán McCarthy from Hyperion Ltd. who led a three-hour training session on how to write a competitive proposal for Pillar II of Horizon Europe. The aim of the training was to help researchers prepare an application for Horizon Europe. The training, which aimed to help researchers prepare an application to Horizon Europe, was organised in a partnership between the UCILeR and the Vice-Rectorate for Research and the Strategic Areas Centre, and was attended by researchers and science managers from various UC units.

Seán McCarthy Seán is a specialist in the design of training courses for researchers and research project managers, having worked with various research centres and universities under the Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe programmes.
