The UCILeR leads two applications to Horizon Europe - Cluster 2

The last two months were very productive in the submission of projects to international calls. We highlight the coordination of two applications in which the UC was the proponent entity and the UCILeR led the team management under Cluster 2 (Culture, Creativity and Inclusive society). Under the coordination of Dr. Ana Gaudêncio, the project INTERMILAW - Intercultural Translation, Migrations and Law (HORIZON-CL2-2022-TRANSFORMATIONS-01-03) was submitted, while the project EU-COMPASS - Engaging Citizen and COMmunity Participation in Social and Democratic Structures (HORIZON-CL2-2022-DEMOCRACY-01), was coordinated by Dr. Dulce Lopes. Each of the applications has a total budget of about 3 million euros.

Also in Cluster 2 (HORIZON-CL2-2022-HERITAGE-01-03), Dr. Mafalda Miranda Barbosa leads the collaboration of the UCILeR in the application "IMAGe-shaped Europe: A multidisciplinary tool for the monitoring of shared digital images as perceptual sources of values, beliefs, and traditions in a new European strategy for the Social Media".

In Cluster 6 (Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment), the UCILeR joined as a partner in two applications ArboTrack - Decentralized digital technology for forest management and the wood supply chain, led by Dr. Dulce Lopes, and FAIR NATURE: Transformative Solutions For All, led by Dr. Alexandra Aragão.
