The book "(R)evolution of Mental Health Legislation in the light of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities" authored by Eduardo António da Silva Figueiredo and under the guidance and supervision of Doctors Maria João Antunes and Paula Távora Vítor is published in open access. The work can be consulted in the General Study of the University of Coimbra, here.

The study aims to analyze the main current trends in the evolution of mental health legislation - on a global and, especially, European scale - namely in light of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The book was produced in the scope of the activities of the Research Areas "Risk, Transparency and Litigiousness" and "Vulnerability and Law", integrated in the project "Social Challenges, Uncertainty and Law: Plurality | Vulnerability | Undecidability" of the University of Coimbra Institute for Legal Research (UIDB/04643/2020).
