Mission out: UCILeR researcher participates in Science 2024 meeting

Researcher Carla Barbosa participated in the "Engineering and Health: Revolutions in Care and Quality of Life" panel at the Science 2024 Meeting in Porto between 3 and 5 July.

The panel, led by the ARISE Associated Laboratory with the participation of the Pedro Nunes Institute, discussed how the continuous advance of technology has transformed how we look after our health and improve our quality of life. Carla Barbosa presented the CHANGER project, of which she is a researcher at the UCILeR, focusing on the ethical, social, and regulatory aspects associated with the continuous advance of technologies and their relationship with healthcare and improvements in quality of life.
