Mission out: UCILeR researcher participates in EurHope results - High level event in Madrid

Our researcher Fernando Borges was a guest at the EurHope results - High level event in Madrid on 10 November 2023. The event organised by Make.org and JEF Europe presented the results of the #EurHope consultation which led to the drafting of the "Agenda of Hope". The UCILeR is an academic partner of the project and was present at the event to strengthen partnership ties and attract new research projects.

EurHope, a participatory campaign ahead of the 2024 European elections, is supported by a coalition of more than 45 partners. It was initiated by JEF Europe and Make.org. In its first phase, the campaign gathered 1.5 million votes across the European Union and more than 5,000 proposals were submitted on the multilingual online platform Make.org (eurhope.org), available in all member states. The campaign was launched by EurHope on 9 May in Strasbourg, with the aim of putting young citizens at the centre of the political debate during the next European elections.
