Mission out: Researchers attend event in Denmark

Researchers Carolina Cunha and Inês Martins participated in the Workshop on Comparative Enterprise Foundation Law (ELI project on enterprise foundations) at Copenhagen Business School on 20 and 21 June 2024.
The researchers presented a paper on the Portuguese legal framework for enterprise foundations and participated in debates on the experience with enterprise foundations in various jurisdictions.
They also took part in working groups dedicated to the construction of model rules on this subject.
This mission is part of the POWer Project, underway at the UCILeR, which is analysing ways of organising companies that prevent or discourage short-term profit motives, in line with sustainability objectives.
