On June 22 and 23, the annual meeting of the Red Internacional de Bienes Públicos (RIBP) was held at the Trinity College. The RIBP is a research network that brings together more than thirty researchers from Europe and Latin America, in a total of 12 states represented.

Since its constitution, in 2013, the RIBP includes two researchers from the UCILeR, Fernando Alves Correia and Ana Raquel Moniz - at the time, the only Portuguese representatives, to whom it was assigned, this year, the chairmanship of the scientific committee and the executive coordination of the annual meeting of RIBP.

The Meeting, which had the institutional support of the Rectorate, was organized by CEDOUA, with the support of the UCILeR, and was attended by professors and researchers from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, France, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela and, of course, Portugal. Over two days, they debated the theme "Public Goods and Sustainability", combining the specificity assumed by those goods in the various legal systems with the concerns regarding sustainable development (especially environmental, energy, economic-financial and cultural).
