The University of Coimbra, through the UCILeR, signed a collaboration protocol with the Pollux Association - Space Technologies, on 4 April 2024.

The aim of this protocol is for the two organisations to work together with common objectives relating to the promotion of research, educational development and the promotion of research projects in the field of geo-law/Space Law. This protocol formalises the informal collaboration that already exists between Pollux and two UCILeR researchers who are members of Pollux's Advisory Board.

Pollux, founded in 2021, is the only Portuguese junior initiative in the space sector, formed by a group of students from the University of Coimbra, which aims to simplify and support the relationship between the space industry and students.
