Marie Curie Individual Fellowship
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) support researchers in all scientific fields and from all nationalities. We believe that by hosting high quality PhD researchers through MSCA fellowships we will strengthen research field.

Stimulus Programme for Scientific Employment
The Stimulus Programme for Scientific Employment (CEEC) is an initiative of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) which aims to hire researchers with doctorates - of any nationality or stateless persons holding a degree in any scientific area - who wish to carry out their scientific research activity in Portugal.
As a research unit, the UCILeR may host potential work plans and support the preparation of applications to the Stimulus Programme for Scientific Employment.
PhD Scholarschips
The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) offer Doctoral Research Grants for candidates who wish to develop research activities leading to a doctoral degree.
Candidates wishing to develop their research activities at the UCILeR and who have full researchers from the UCILeR as advisors may contact us to receive support in preparing applications.
Fulbright Specialists Program
The Fulbright Specialists Program (FSP) allows for short-term projects carried out by American specialists in Portuguese research units.
If you are a North-American researcher interested in applying or if you know someone who would like to develop projects at the UCILeR, we will be pleased to receive proposals.
