Doctoral Students Network

Doctoral Students Network

The Doctoral Students Network is an event organised by doctoral students for doctoral students. It is a space for scientific sharing among peers, where ongoing research, methodological practices, and preliminary research results can be presented and discussed to be enriched, promoting a critical view of research, collaboration, and scientific excellence. Researchers currently pursuing their doctorate are invited to present their work, which will be debated and commented on by other participants, without the presence of senior researchers, to stimulate collaboration and the sharing of experiences in a scientific environment.

The Doctoral Students Network takes place annually with institutional support from the UCILeR and is organised by a committee of doctoral students. Although legal research is the central theme, contributions from other scientific areas in the humanities and social sciences that share themes and methodologies of interest are accepted, as well as contributions from the life sciences and technology that bring implications to law.
