JORGE SEABRA
He participated in the 1969 student movement and was member of the board of the Coimbra Academic Association in the period 1970-71. After being arrested and tortured by the Secret Service (PIDE), in Caxias, he was tried at the Porto Plenary Court in 1972. He was the founder and leader of the Centro Zone Doctors' Union. President of the Portuguese Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (SPOT), in 2007. Founder of the Portuguese Language Orthopedic Society (SOLP), he served as president from 2012 to 2013.
