XXVII International Fair of Minerals, Gems and Fossils of Coimbra
XXVII International Fair of Minerals, Gems and Fossils Dept. Earth Sciences -FCTUC - University of Coimbra November 2021
In keeping with tradition, the XXII International Fair of Minerals, Gems and Fossils of the University of Coimbra took place on November 26, 27 and 28, 2021, organized by the DCT-FCTUC.
The Fair has been held annually for 27 years and aims to celebrate the Geodiversity of planet Earth and simultaneously promote Geology, as well as the activities of specialists in Geosciences.
Due to the pandemic context, this edition of the International Fair of Minerals, Gems and Fossils took place in the cloister of the College of Arts (Pole I of the UC) and registered the full satisfaction of Visitors and Exhibitors.
The event hosted the social solidarity campaign of the project "O Sorriso da Mafalda", serving as a collection point for plastic and metal lids for recycling.
The DCT Management and the Organizing Committee of the event thank all those involved and make themselves available to start the promotion and planning of the next edition of the Fair.
