DCT student is a finalist at Académica Start UC

Andreia Nunes, Master's student at the Department of Earth Sciences and researcher at the Geosciences Center of the University of Coimbra, is one of the five finalists of the 2020-2021 edition of Académica Start UC – Network of Ambassadors for Entrepreneurship.

Académica Start UC is a pilot project to raise awareness, education and training of students at the University of Coimbra for innovation and entrepreneurship, created by UC and AAC.

Through the innovative project Geoxplora, a webinar that brought together 21 speakers from all over the country around the theme of Combating Geological Abandonment, Andreia Nunes is now able to do international training in the area of innovation and entrepreneurship. The final result will be known in early October, within the scope of the 5th edition of the Start UC Academic Gala.
