Prof. Eric Font, a lecturer at the DCT-FCTUC, has just been approved a FCT project in collaboration with MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in the amount of 48,000 euros. The project title is "Analysis of the environmental and climatic record of Portuguese speleothems using ultra-high sensitivity magnetic microscopy", with the collaboration of Eduardo Lima and Benjamin Weiss from MIT (USA). The project also includes researchers from DCT, IDL, IPMA in Portugal, Brazil, Minnesota (USA) and Harvard (USA).
