TRIPLE-C – Capitalising Climate Change Projects in Risk management for a better AA resilience

24 march, 2022≈ 2 min read

Triple-C is a project of knowledge transfer and capitalization of results, with INTERREG funding through the 2014-2020 Atlantic Area programme, in which the UC participates through two research centres, MARE (Centre for Marine and Environmental Sciences) and CEIF-ADAI (Forest Fire Research Centre, of the Association for the Development of Industrial Aerodynamics).

The project focuses on the analysis, evaluation, and capitalisation of European projects with recognised success in the prevention and management of risks arising from climate change.

The goal is that the results and good practices identified by the partners will influence policies, strategies and actions carried out at public regulation level. The transferred results will serve to inform public authorities, directly or indirectly linked to risk management in climate change adaptation, to influence their policy making. These capitalisation results will also serve as a basis for the development of guidelines and recommendations for the next generation of EU cooperation programmes on climate change risk management.
