Quality Policy

The LRN university matrix provides with scientific, technological and knowledge transfer training, orienting your activity towards the following objectives:

  • Continuously identify the needs and expectations of customers and interested parties aiming their satisfaction and the recognition of the technical quality of services provided to the community;
  • Ensure the skills and technical training of its employees, guiding their actions towards the continuous improvement of the services provided under the principle of impartiality;
  • Promote the modernization of its technological structures;
  • Carry out tests and laboratory work for which it has the means and the necessary organization, in order to maintain high levels of quality in the services provided;
  • Participate in R&D+i projects of excellence, which allow for an innovative and dynamic intervention, increasing cooperation with the faculty's reference Research Centers and establishing collaboration networks with public and private entities at regional, national and international levels.

To this end, we establish systematized work processes that clearly demonstrate our technical and management commitment for the development of laboratory activities in our area of ​​intervention. To do so, the FCTUC Board:

  • Expresses its commitment to the Quality Management System implemented and ensures that it reflects good professional practices that guarantee the quality of the tests and the satisfaction of the activity provided by its customers and stakeholders;
  • Undertakes that the Management System implemented complies with the requirements of Norm NP EN ISO/17025 and is in a permanent process of continuous improvement;
  • Strives for all personnel involved in the activities of the LRN to have full knowledge of the Management System and to implement the policies and procedures in their work;
  • Provides the necessary resources to fulfill the objectives;
  • Establishes that policies and objectives must include the competence, impartiality and consistent functioning of the laboratory.
