Summer Internships 2022
Opportunity to provide UC students, and specifically the DCT-FCTUC, with experiences in work contexts, through direct contact with the general environment of an organization, promoting rapprochement with national and international institutions and companies, and the enhancement of their curriculum or redesign of their school career.

(students enrolled in isolated curricular units or in a mobility program will have to complete their internship by August 31)
Application period: from March 18 to April 4, 2022
How to apply: through InforEstudante, in the option "Balcão Académico >> Summer Internships"
Publication of results (on InforEstudante): until the end of April (to be confirmed annually)
note:
- Only students with active enrollment (who have not completed the study cycle) will be able to attend a summer internship

Regulation of Summer Internships at UC
Certification: Summer internships are referenced in the Diploma Supplement or confer the right to issue a certificate for students enrolled in isolated curricular units and students under a mobility program.
note:
- Failure to complete the internship without prior and substantiated justification with the host entity and NUPE prevents the internship in the following academic year.
Self-Proposed Internships
After the ranking, candidates not placed and students who did not apply (or who are only attending isolated curricular units) can seek to identify other entities in which they intend to carry out the internship and initiate the necessary contacts for their placement. This situation is essentially foreseen in the event that there are no vacancies remaining from the normal application process, for your area of training and in your geographical area of residence outside the period of classes.
In case of acceptance of the internship request, the hosting entities inform NUPE about the specific conditions of the internship (dates, workload, etc.) and the respective plan via email to estagios@uc.pt.
