Field trip to the Buçaco Syncline on May 8, 2021, within the scope of the Paleontology discipline, to learn about the Middle Ordovician, Upper Ordovician and Silurian stratigraphic sequences and the fossiliferous associations they contain, allowing them to verify the changes either in the composition of the fauna and in the sedimentary regimes during this time interval, which included global warming events, volcanism and the second major extinction of the Phanerozoic.
