Presentation
The Master's in Software Engineering (MSE) is designed to train advanced-level professionals in the various dimensions of modern software development, namely requirements gathering, software architecture and design, continuous development and delivery chains, quality, project and team management, hard and soft skills.
This four-semester course operates on an after-school basis with support for distance learning, and is structured around a real project, Software Development Studio, for an external client.
This project provides the context for applying the knowledge and skills acquired in the other curricular units, enabling students to synthesise a concrete solution to a significant and real problem. These professionals are trained to be leaders in the technical hierarchy of the modern software industry, capable of managing large, highly complex projects in multidisciplinary teams.
