Bachelor in Design and Multimedia

The Degree in Design and Multimedia (LDM) favours a solid foundation in Communication Design, Multimedia and Computer Technology, seeking to develop a broad spectrum of skills essentially designed for further study towards a Master's degree.

It offers innovative training that specialises the professional in design skills and multidisciplinary dialogue for the practice of design with a strong exploitation of digital media.

The ongoing transformations in a globalised and technological world pose new challenges and new strategies of an economic, environmental, social and cultural nature, to which the designer must be able to respond in a world where media and technological tools are constantly changing.

Curriculum Plan

The study cycle consists of three years organised into six semesters, with a total of thirty compulsory curricular units and 180 ECTS, distributed across the following scientific areas: Audiovisual and Media Production (AVPM) 90 ECTS, Computer Science (CI) 60 ECTS, Fine Arts (BA) 24 ECTS and Maths and Statistics (ME) 6 ECTS.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Graduates in Design and Multimedia will acquire a solid basic training in preparation for operational performance in a combination of the scientific and technical areas of design and information technologies. The composition of the curricular proposal is aimed above all at basic preparation in Design and Information Technology, which, while conferring immediate operational capacity for the execution of projects, is not aimed at advanced distinctive competencies in the conception area.
