Sci-Tech Asia with new cycle of Anthropology webinars on Innovation, Automation and Digital Economy
This cycle of webinars brings together recent works in anthropology and social studies of science and technology that critically analyze the social, ethical, and political dimensions of contemporary ecologies of innovation, automation, and increasing digitization. The cycle brings together ethnographic research focusing on recent developments and tensions in China, South Korea, and the Pacific Ring of Fire region. This cycle of webinars is supported by the Technoscience, Society, and Environment Research Group at CIAS—Center for Research in Anthropology and Health at the University of Coimbra. The webinars will take place via Zoom on the dates indicated on the poster. Everyone is welcome but registration is mandatory.
