Our research explores the relationships between the structure, functioning, and resilience of biological communities, thus framing the main conservation issues at the community level. We often use bipartite or multilayer network analysis as a holistic viewpoint to assess the causes and consequences of environmental disturbances – such as biological invasions – on ecosystem services, mainly seed dispersal and pollination. Much of this work has been carried out on oceanic islands. |
