Science exhibition dedicated to the soil, full of activities, experiences and challenges.
World Soil Day is held on December 5th every year to raise awareness of the importance of healthy soil and advocate sustainable management of soil resources.
The Environmental Ecology and Ecotoxicology Group will mark this day, in collaboration with NEMATO-lab, also from CFE, with a science exhibition dedicated to the theme of soils, full of activities, experiences and challenges.
The objective is to raise awareness among the general public about the main threats to soil and the vital benefits it provides us.
The free entry event will occur from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm at Colégio de São Bento in the Department of Life Sciences - UC.
