This conversation will analyze the importance of celebrating trees and their impact as a civic and pedagogical practice, over time and at specific moments, in Portugal. A conversation that will demarcate a line in time, which will go back to the last years of the monarchy and will travel around the republic, among the festivals of the trees that were organized and how much they symbolized the motherland, freedom, solidarity and the celebration of man's relationship with nature.
