From Lisbon airport:

Taxi, Uber, Bolt, etc., or Metro (https://www.metrolisboa.pt/en/) to:

1. Gare do Oriente station. Train from Gare do Oriente railway station to Coimbra-B station (https://www.cp.pt/passageiros/en) or bus (https://www.flixbus.pt/).

2. Sete Rios bus station. Bus to Coimbra (https://rede-expressos.pt/en)

From Faro airport:

Bus, taxi, Uber, Bolt, etc. to Faro railway station. Train to Coimbra-B station (https://www.cp.pt/passageiros/en). Take at least 6h.

By bus (https://rede-expressos.pt/en or https://www.flixbus.pt/) takes at least 8h.

There are several train options, Alfa pendular or Intercity [Intercidades] are recommended.

You have the option to buy either Comfort/1^st or Tourist/2^nd tickets, both are good.

You should buy the ticket to/from Coimbra-B station.

Please confirm carefully the bus number and the number of the bus boarding platform.

On the way back to Lisbon airport the Rede Expressos night buses (arriving in Lisbon after 9 pm and until 8 am) stop at the airport. You should always ask the driver when boarding if you are legally allowed to stop at the airport and if so, let him know where to put your luggage.

Coimbra: Taxis (http://www.politaxis.pt/indexEnglish.html), Uber, and Bolt. Ask for the destination Casa da Lusofonia. The Department of Life Sciences is just in front.

Lisbon: Bolt, Cabify, Izzy Move, Uber, etc.
