Omar Costa Hamido, integrated researcher at CEIS20 (Group 4 – Artistic Currents and Intellectual Movements) and also a Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellow, is co-organising for the second year running the new edition of the International Symposium on Quantum Computing and Musical Creativity (ISQCMC Berlin), which will take place in Berlin on 5 and 6 October.

Hamido will present the papers “Quantum Memory of Musical Compositions”, together with Maria Mannone (Dipartimento di Ingegneria, Università di Palermo), and “NphZ” in collaboration with Scott Oshiro (University of Stanford). The latter paper will also be presented at the Splice Festival V, Berklee College of Music, Boston, on 2 November.
