1 - History, Memory, Public Policy
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
Created in 1998 by the historian Prof. Luís Reis Torgal, Ph.D (founder of CEIS20), Group 1 – History, Memory, Public Policy promotes the development of scientific research in the fields of humanities and social sciences, with a focus on history in its various regional aspects, architecture, cultural and economic heritage, museology, law, social services, sociology and political science.
The aim is to create multiple scientific perspectives on the contemporary period and the present times, from an interdisciplinary (CEIS20 matrix) and transdisciplinary perspective, and to promote lines of research that produce and disseminate knowledge with national and international impact.

- History of art, architecture and images.
