The Vice-Coordinator of CEIS20 interviewed by “Caminhos na UC”

Luís Trindade, Vice-Coordinator of CEIS20 and integrated researcher in Group 4 – Artistic Currents and Intellectual Movements, was interviewed by FLUC and the AAC about his return to FLUC 20 years after graduating in History

“The Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra (FLUC) and the Coimbra Academic Association (AAC) were home to Luís Trindade during his first stay in Coimbra as a history student.

More than 20 years later, in 2020, he returned to the University of Coimbra (UC) to teach in the very course in which he graduated. Today, he is a professor at FLUC, a role in which he not only teaches history, but also encourages students to think critically about the past and the world.

He dedicates much of his time as vice-coordinator and researcher to the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies (CEIS20), a research unit at the University of Coimbra that aims to “promote dialogue between disciplines that usually do not cross paths”.
