On 9 March, the Ouvir Vozes (Hearing Voices) project by the Marionet Theatre Company, together with the Centre for Social Studies, the Movimento Ouvir Vozes Portugal and Rádio Aurora, was approved for funding under the Arts and Mental Health Programme of the Directorate-General for the Arts. Under the artistic direction of researcher Mário Montenegro, the project aims to take an artistic approach to the experience of hearing voices, raising awareness of the phenomenon and challenging stereotypes and stigmas.
