Applications for this programme are open until 24 February. This postgraduate programme is an innovative way of linking environmental, social and human sustainability requirements – and the political, ethical and practical challenges they pose – with strategic options and management models for cultural and arts projects and institutions.

Coordinated by CEIS20 researchers Fernando Matos Oliveira and Vânia Rodrigues, the postgraduate programme is strongly anchored in the research lines of the CEIS20 projects Modes of Production – Performing Arts in Transition and GREENARTS.

Eco-dramaturgy, environmental justice and eco-ethics are some of the areas to be developed in the training programme, supported by the Directorate-General for the Arts (DGArtes) and part of the Living the Future Academy project (funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility).

During the public presentation of the postgraduate programme, a cooperation protocol was also signed between the UC and DGArtes, which guarantees support for the development of interdisciplinary training and research activities at the intersection of the arts and other fields of knowledge.
