SPIM (Portuguese Society for Music Research) is the successor organisation of the former Portuguese Society of Music Sciences and is a nationwide association of musicologists and researchers from all fields of music studies: history, theory, analysis, iconography, psychology, pedagogy, computer science, sociology, philosophy of music, performance, and ethnomusicology.
