Isabel Baltazar honoured by Tomar City Council

On 1 March, the researcher was honoured by the city of Tomar, where she was born, with the award of the Municipal Medal of Honour. Isabel Baltazar was awarded the History of Europe Prize – Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation by the Portuguese Academy of History in 2020 for her work “Rethinking Portugal and the Idea of Europe” and for her research at the Municipal Archive and Library of the city.
