CEIS20 integrated researcher wins FCT’s CEEC

CEIS20 researcher Carlos Manuel Faísca will spend the next few years developing his individual research project, funded by the FCT’s Individual Institutional Call for Scientific Employment Stimulus. The AgroMED project aims to identify plants, agroforestry systems and agricultural techniques used in the arid regions of the Iberian Peninsula between the 17th and 20th centuries. As water becomes increasingly scarce, one of the aims is to help build possible solutions from the knowledge of the past. Carlos is a CEIS20 integrated researcher, a member of Group 8 – Changing Landscapes. Long term LAB and of the ReSEED project team.
