Applications for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships – Horizon-Europe

As a host institution, CEIS20 invites expressions of interest for the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) – 2023 Individual Postdoctoral Fellowship Call, one of the most prestigious and competitive research fellowship programmes on the European continent. The deadline for submitting proposals is 12 June 2023.

We welcome project proposals within the scope of activities of the CEIS20 research groups .

The aim of the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships is to strengthen the creative and innovative potential of doctoral researchers who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, intersectoral and interdisciplinary mobility. The programme involves travelling to another country to carry out research and innovation projects. Applications are open to outstanding researchers of any nationality. Applications for this grant will must be submitted jointly by an individual researcher with an ambitious and innovative research proposal and a host organisation from the academic and/or non-academic sector.

Application process (CEIS20 hosting)

Submission of proposals:

– Proposals should be sent to projetos.ceis20@uc.pt (Olga Solovova, CEIS20 Science Manager) by 12 June.

Each proposal must include three documents (in English):

  1. A detailed curriculum vitae, including the applicant’s academic background (as these are postdoctoral fellowships, only applicants with a doctorate awarded within the last 8 years will be considered);
  2. a short letter of motivation;
  3. The title and summary of the work plan within one of the eight CEIS20 research groups).

The applicant must also propose a possible supervisor for their work plan, based on the Centre’s team of integrated researchers.

CEIS20’s scientific management team will oversee all processes and applications and clarify any questions that may arise.
