Political fictions or fables have the potential to divert, nourish and transform attention, both on a corporeal and transcorporeal level. Political fictions are like a membrane of reality, they mould access to reality and allow us to connect bodies and their situated experiences to abstract levels of discussion and understanding. On this journey, Ritó will discuss a selection of theoretical and practical materials that have been important for a series of lecture-performances dedicated to the relationship between language and geology ("Anthropocenas" 2017, "Geophagy" 2018 and "Fossil" 2020) and the construction of "Spillovers", an ecotransfeminist essay that proposes a fabulated re-reading of "Lesbian Peoples - material for a dictionary", a work by Monique Wittig and Sande Zeig published in 1976.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Cultural Management and Sustainability (FLUC-CEIS20) is a pioneering training programme offered by the University of Coimbra, in association with the research agenda of Modes of Producion - Performing Arts in Transition and to the FCT-funded project GREENARTS. Coordinated by Vânia Rodrigues and Fernando Matos Oliveira, this study cycle is situated at the intersection of artistic studies, arts management, eco-production, eco-ethics and eco-dramaturgy, relating the modes of artistic production with the broad ecological challenge. It counts with several national and international guests and is aimed primarily at arts and cultural professionals.
