“A Ilha dos Amores (1982) as a bridge between East and West: Paulo Rocha, Wenceslau de Moraes, Religion and Visual Culture” is the topic of the first 2023 session of The Transcendence of the Screen, a monthly activity of the CEIS20 Film and Interreligious Dialogue project coordinated by Maria do Rosário Lupi Bello (UAb/CECC-UCP) and Sérgio Dias Branco (UC/CEIS20), and co-organised by CEIS20 and CECC, with the support of LIPA. Caterina Cucinotta (IHC/UNL) will attend the session as guest speaker.
