The first municipal elections in democracy

As part of the 126th anniversary of the restoration of the Municipality of Marvão (1898-2004), the Municipal Assembly of Marvão is organising several initiatives to celebrate the event. In this context, collaborating researcher Sérgio Campos (Group 1 – History, Memory and Public Policies) will present a paper entitled "As primeiras eleições autárquicas em democracia" (The first municipal elections in democracy), which took place on 12 December 1976.
