Music and related fields have a prominent place in the research carried out at the University of Coimbra. The questions posed by the musical phenomenon not only benefit from interdisciplinary approaches, but truly require the crossing of different but complementary perspectives, methodologies and fields of knowledge. The questions raised by the music phenomenon not only benefit from an interdisciplinary approach, but also require the intersection of different, yet complementary, perspectives, methodologies and fields of knowledge. In this context, it is crucial to encourage contact between researchers, the sharing of projects and interests, the creation of opportunities for collaboration and the development of a more cohesive academic community. With this in mind, a group of CEIS20 researchers are organising this event to disseminate the work being done and promote the intersections between them.
