The Communication, Journalism and Public Space research group is organising an in-person masterclass in the CEIS20 Seminar Room, which can also be followed online.
The masterclass will be held by Hugo Oliveira, Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Engineering of the University of Coimbra (UC) and researcher at the UC Centre for Computer Science and Systems.
Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a method of analysing natural human language using tools from computer science, artificial intelligence and linguistics. The aim of the session is to introduce NLP, some of its challenges and applications, using concrete projects as examples.
Admission is free, but subject to registration.
