Irene Mendoza Torrecilla
Student at the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB) and visiting researcher at the Center for Classical Studies and Humanities of the University of Coimbra, under the guidance of Professor Carmen Soares.
She holds a bachelor in ancient sciences and is currently developing his final thesis in Phoenician philology and epigraphy. Meanwhile, she is interning at CECH under the Erasmus + program.
Her research interests focus on studies of greek theatre, Near Eastern language and culture, mythology, gender views in antiquity, archeology and religion.

My visiting period at the Center for Classical and Humanistic Studies is part of the study program at the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona. Under the supervision of Carmen Soares, I am responsible for supporting active research projects and helping with the center's development.
