He has been an entry-level doctoral researcher at the Centre for Classical and Humanistic Studies (contract DL 57, ref. DOI) since January 2019. As part of his duties, he teaches in the Department of Philosophy, Communication and Information, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Coimbra.

He has a degree in Philosophy (2007) and a PhD in Moral and Political Philosophy (2014) from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He was a visiting researcher at the Université Catholique de Louvain (2009-2010), Fonds Ricœur (2010) and Columbia University (2011 and 2016).

Member of the Scientific Committee of the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Coimbra.

Member of the funded research projects PRECARITYLAB (Spain) and Research Network the Relation Between Epistemic Injustice and Recognition Theory (Germany).

Co-coordinator of the Northern Region Centre of the Portuguese Political Economy Association (EcPol).
