Goals

1. Promotion of the relationship between researchers from CECH and the Institute of Human and Social Sciences of the Federal University of Ouro Preto, both seniors with a consolidated education and international recognition, and young researchers still being educated, bringing together two generations for the successful implementation of a strategic convergence of a future solid strategic knowledge in the Portuguese-Brazilian space.

2. Strengthening cultural and scientific relations between the two universities through mobility.

3. Enhancement of the reciprocity between studies of philological-literary and historical natures for the understanding of the political and civic identity common to the two countries, represented by the researchers.

4. Stimulate contact and collaboration between young researchers from Coimbra and Ouro Preto in order to channel the experience of each side towards the common valorisation of a joint critical mass.
